Yesterday evening, in a standing room event center at the bustling Atlanta Tech Village, WideAngle co-founders: Tejus Parikh and Jon Birdsong took the stage in front of hundreds at Atlanta Startup Village.

Parikh exclaimed: “1:1’s are the most powerful management tool. They are the foundation of a sound communication architecture. Slack, Yammer, Outlook, are great pieces of software, but deep conversations and relationship building happen in 1:1’s.”

The audience grasped every word.

The five minute presentation included bits of thought leadership from some of the most successful minds in software including Andy Grove and Ben Horowitz.

Upon the conclusion of the demo, questions were asked from the extremely educated audience around go-to market strategies, product decisions, and use cases of the product.

Birdsong was quoted as saying: “I’m very proud of the team. We’ve built a wonderful product, have customers that include the names of GE, Thomson Reuters, and hundreds of managers using the product every week for their 1:1’s. And this is just the beginning.”

It was a wonderful evening to share their software and educate hundreds on the benefits of the most powerful management tool: 1:1’s.

1 on 1 Meetings are the best way to provide stronger communication, greater alignment, and deeper team engagement. WideAngle is 1 on 1 meeting software used by companies including General Electric, IBM, AT&T, and many more to make sure 1:1 Meetings happen, are productive, and documented.
